Thanksgiving Day has again coma
and gore, carrying with it possibly, a
great toll of Hvss, of nice fat tur-
keys. We hope and believ. it true
with everyone, that Thanksgiving in
deed and truth, has not gone, but
will remain a continuous chain from
one Thanksgiving Day to another.
Rockdale School gave a two-day
vacation for Thanksgiving. Both
teachers went away upon a short
visit, Miss Myers, to Abilene and
Miss Edith Ramsey, who teaches
the Cebjb school, prepared a program
by her school of six little girls, and
on . last Friday night the program
was successfully vpndered and in con-
nection with it there was a box sup-
per for the benefit of fixtures for the
ached room. There were a
of boxes which sold exceedingly well.
A cake add for the pretty girl
which brought $15.38, and was <
by Miss Baba Cobb, the daughter of
Mr. and' Mrs. Marvin Cobb. I am
sure that Mias Ramsey is very grate-
ful to the young men and to the old-
