want to work with the youth of
the community.

elected at our next meeting.
We expect a larger attendance
at the meeting which will be
held Wednesday, May 10, at 2

were happy to have Mrs. J. I.

RICHARD MASON
wants you to know
. . .just how our legislators will preserve
our vital natural resources. Richard
Mason is vitally concerned about the
lack of interest shown by our current
representative on environmental issues.
Our current representative has the
worst record of any South Texas
Representative on ecological issues.
Representative Leroy Wieting voted
AGAINST our natural environment
in the 1971 legislative session. Look
at the record:
On May 29 of last year, 106 Representa-
tives voted YES to HB 452, establishing the
vitally important Office of Environmental
Quality. 27 Legislators voted NO to this
bill. Leroy Wieting voted NO.
Richard Mason will change
Austin for you.
We must have sincere, responsible leadership in Austin. We must have a
representative who cares about our most important assets - our water
and air.
Richard Mason cares. He knows how these issues will affect our lives in
the future. In Austin, he will work to protect our interest in clean bays
and pure air. It can be done, it must be done.
Vote May 6th for a man who will stand up for you and Texas.
Richard Mason.
