The late Mrs. Henderson was
96 years old. She died at 7:15
p.m. July 30 in Overall-Morris Me-
morial Hospital in Coleman.
Services were held at 10 a.m.

Mrs. Henderson was bom April
16, 1867, in Missouri and married
Sept 25, 1882. in Burkett to the
late W. C. Henderson who pre-
maiden name was Effie Jane Kel-
ler. She was a Coleman County
resident tor 86 years and a mem-
ber of thr Church of Christ tor
63 years.
Pallbearers for the rites were
J. E. Scott, Frank Lewis, Robert
L Bowen, Wade Hemphill, Dr.
Ray Martin and Fred Jackson, all
of Coleman.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by
one son, Willlfe Henderson of Burk-
ett; seven daughters, Mrs. R. H.
Davanay of Baytown; Mrs. Cora
Gray, Mrs. Let# Knight, MTS.
Callie Gray and Mrs. Ona Evans,
all of Burkett; Mrs. Era V. Col-
lins of Snyder; Mrs. Cleta Allen

A fire, apparently caused by
either faulty wiring or s faulty
water heater, destroyed the home
of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Keith Jr-,
220 Woodall Lane, Thursday after-
noon.
Firemen from the Baytown fire
department and from Barber’s Hill
battled the blaze but were un-
able to save the house. > .
No one was at home at the
time of The fire- Mrs. Kfeith said
that she and her husband return-
