This summer has been “reun-
ion” time in bur family.
Just Jast week we attended the
20 years reunion of our husband
at the Community House. It was
the graduating class of 1941 at
Robert E. Lee High School.
Next week we’ll attend the 10
year reunion of REL class of ’51,
our grad class.
We’vp kind of chuckled to our-
„ self all summer about this 10 and
X 20 year business. It didn’t really
™ dawn dh our husband until after
hi® reunion. He countered by point-
ing out that since he was the rid-
er he deserved "a little more re-
spect, if you please.’’ Not that he’s
saying that for the first time.
It was really fun at the ’41 re-
union, although we didn’t know at our reunion!

the most, Right then we learned
that we'd better rush in first at
everyone there. One thing that
made us a little envious was that
everyone seemed to remember
everyone else’s name. Now this
has always been a problem with
us. We can remember faces and
names, but never connect the two.
We’ve had to ask so many old
school mates lately, “uh, what is
your name?’’ that it doesn’t bother
us anymore. Now whdh we meet
someone from “way back” we just
introduce ourself again — feeling
compassion for them if they are
as forgetful as we. ~X
Later in the evening, we finally
realized that the .reason they could
remember was because they had
