auditor with an opportunity to criti-
que his clients accounting practices.
The “letter” was not a part of
Peeler’s audit review Tuesday
night. When asked about it Peeler
explained that the very recent com-
pletion of the audit had left him with
insufficient time to compose the
“letter” but he assured the board
that he would have it to them by next
week.
Apparently satisfied with Peeler’s
report, the trustees voted to accept
it. They also voted to re-new
Peeler’s contract for the 1993-94
fiscal year.

made at the Elementary School on
Wednesday morning). Also present
at Tuesday’s board meeting was 5th
grader Nathan Lawless, who told the
board, that he and his fellow
students decided on the project
realizing that they would enjoy a
bountiful Christmas even without
exchanging gifts so why not spend
the effort and money to help so-

After the youth spoke, School
Superintendent Douglas Koeber-
nick, invited Lawless to come for-

the young man’s hand and con-
gratulated him and his classmates
for their generous and compas-
sionate efforts.

Will it come in 1994?
Naw.
Most of the country is asleep and
