Galveston, Texas, May 12, 1953 Mr. Homer L. Bruce Baker, botts, Andrews & Parish Esperson Building Houston 2, Texas My dear Bruc e: I confirm phone conversation with you on yesterday and under- stood that you would undertake to try to reach the proper party in the department to discuss the delay that has attended our request for a ruling from the Bureau of Internal Revenue on the application filed by you. As I did not hear from you today I thought it well to advise you that while I shall be in Galveston tomorrow, Wednesday, I have two directors meetings in the morning - one at 10 and one at 11 - so if you have occasion to call me it will be difficult to reach me between the hours of 10 and 12. I further wish to advise I expect to be in Sugar Land Thursday and could, if you deem it important and will let me know tomorrow, Wednesday, arrange to come in to Houston for about a one o'clock lunch or probably more conveniently to reach there about two o'clock. Yours very truly, U be ir Thos, L. James
