ADVANCE-DESIGN TRUCKS
He said a number of packers
in the district have complained
that high prices and limited sup-
plies of live animals for slaughter
and ceiling prices on processed
meat have brought a “squeeze”
on some packers.
“We expect something to be
worked out soon to relieve this
situation,” Allison added. “Mean-
while, meat suppliers must aj)ide
by the rules.”
The San Antonio OPS district
office has been instructed to give
investigations in this field first
i
priority, he said.
Persons violating the ceiling
price regulations are subeet to
criminal penalities, including a

MEAT SUPPLIERS HUST HOLD
LINE, SAYS OPS DIRECTOR
Suppliers of meat must hold the
line on prices, Guy P. Allison,
San Antonio district director, Of-
fice of Price Stabilization, warned
this week.
He referred particularly to sup
pliers of beef.
“OPS well knows that packers
now are faced with a dire pro-
blem,” Allison commented, “but
they still must conform to ceiling

MORE CHEVROLET TRUCKS IN USE THAN ANY OTHER MAKE!
In 1950, truck buyers in every one of the 48
states chose Chevrolet over any other make.
Nationally, Chevrolet has outsold any other
truck for the last nine truck production years.
That's because Chevrolet trucks do the job
better .. . stay on the job longer. When you
choose a Chevrolet truck, you get the right
engine —92-h.p. Thriftmaster or extra-
powerful 105-h.p. Loadmaster. You get a
chassis that fits your job. You get a truck built to
move your loads at lowest cost. Come see the
new 1951 Advance-Design Chevrolet trucks.
