with their brother. Mr. Charl-
ie Brown and his two sisters,
Mrs. Sammie Anderson and
Glennie Price. They were
greeted in Plum by their sis-
ter and brother. Mr. and Mrs.
W.B. Williams of Houston

of Austin. AD made it a love-
ly day by bringing so many
good eats. Mbs Hicks was the
guest speaker for the Mothers
Day observance at the Twen-
ty Baptist Church.

Mothers Day with her niece,
Mrs. Beatrice Watson.

Archonettes
holds fashion tea
The Archonettes, an aux-
liary of Zeta Phi Beta Sor.
Inc., held a Fashion Tea in
the palatial home of Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur P. Wright Arch-
onette Valarie Wright grand-
daughter of Soror Margaret
Johnson, was the perfect host
showing guests their lovely
home.
Serving as models were the
Archonettes, along with
Tiffany Branford, daughter of
Soror Debra Branford and
Kimberiyn Paiker, gran-
daughter of Soror Mattie De-
bose. Mrs. Sylvb Wright was
the master of ceremonies for
the show.
The table, which held the
beautifully decorated blue
and white cake, was laid with
linen cloth. Punch was served
from a crystal punch bowl
with coffee and tea poured
from silver arms.
The Archonettes are grate-
ful to the many guests who
came throughout the evening,
making it a very successful
tea.
Archonette officers: pres-
ident, Dina Branford; vice
president, Terry Womack;
secretary, Felicia James, trea-
surer, Rachel Holmes; pro-
gram director, Valorie Wright.

Her fiance graduated from
Albert Sidney Johnston High

land and is presently manager
and buyer for an Austin
clothing store.
