on Saturday evening at 7:30 <?»
dock Miss Donna Ruth Yeager,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E.
Yeager, became the bride of Hu-
bert Lynn Berry, son of Mr. and
Mrs. R. C. Berry of Qoldthwalte.
Rev. W. J. McDaniel officiated
before the altar decorated with
palms gnd white gladioli. White
tapers In whltt floor candelabra
lighted the bridal scene..
The bridal solo “I Love You
Truly" was sung by Mrs. Jack
, Carrier who was accompanied by
Mrs. W. J. McDaniel! organist,
who also played the wedding
marches.'-
The bride entered with her fa-
ther who gave her in marriage.
She was attired In a street length
frock of blonde satin back crepe.
Her hat of the same shade was
veiled In brown In - shoulder
length. Her gloves and slippers
were brown and she wore an or-
chid corsage.
Miss Nona Cook was maid of
honor. Troy Berry attended the
groom as best man.
The bride's mother wore a be-
coming dress with black access-
ories accented with a pink car-
nation corsage, and the groom’s
mother wore a frock of teal blue
with brown accessories and a
carnation corsage of pink hue*. |
Mr. and Mrs. Berry are honey-1
mooning In New Mexico, Colo-
rado and-Oklahoma, after which
they will make their home In
College Station until Mr. Berry
receives his degree In June 1048.
For travel the bride chose a blue
suit with brown accessories. _
The bride is a-graduate of Ste-
phen F. Austin High School and
the groom attended John Tar-
leton Agriculture college and A.
and M. College from which he
will be graduated.
In World War II Mr. Berry
served In the U. 8. Army for al-
most three years, two and a half
years on active duty overseas In
Itlay and North Africa.
