Barfield went fishing.
Friday night Mrs. J. B. Bar-
field and Mrs. Owen 8mtth vis-
ited our niece and family, the
Lester Oeesllns, who have Just
recently moved from Kerrvllle
to Lake Merritt. Lester Is the
caretaker. We enjoyed a barbe-
cue supper with them. Also the
Oeesllns' daughters, Mrs. Dug
Gunn, Mr. Gunn, Angle and
Jody, and Miss Patsy Oeealln
and boy friend of Kerrvllle.

Tuesday we went to Temple.
Thursday night I went to the
“Ringing" at Ridge with Mm.

We visited my sister. Mm.

Friday night about 11:00
o'clock the telephone rang and
ran down the hall to answer
the phone. It was our daughter,
Mrs. Forrest Jemlgan stating
our daughter-in-law. Mrs. Chill
Smith was trying to find Chill
At the same time Chill was
knocking at my door. Hasel said
some one Is knocking on the
door I told her not to open the
door until she found out who it
was. Chill talked to hts sister
and found out the details, and
then called his wife. Chill's
wife’s mother was In the hos-
pital at Corsicana or Wortham
and she wanted to tell him she
was flying down there.
Chill left early Sunday morn-
ing, he bad bought a bunch of
lambs and had to get home be-
