BLUE BONNET
I i>VF, TIIY NEIGHBOR
The residents of Mullin, who
! ive flowers and shrubs grow-
g in their yards are wondering
.1 they had too much confidence
, law, too'much faith for pro-
cLon from stock.
One old hungry cow can do
more damage to a yard or or-
chard In an hour than can be re-
built in aeon
Almost any day horses, cattle
• ad donkey ttiat seems to be-
ng to no one, can be seen strol-
ling over flower beds, the pride
■ i somebodys heart.
The owners are not displaying
ceighborliness If you do not

HOMEMAKING GIRLS
The first year girls are stay-
ing about the pre-school child.
An outside project was the mak-
ing of toys for a pre-school chifd
Such toy* aa the following have
been made: ptature books, con-
struction of doll furniture, as
well as repairing furniture,
dressing and fitting Jane, the
discarded doll up in the newest
spring fashions, etc.
The girls are really working on
these toys and we have some
very nice ones now.
We hear that the second year
girls are working very hard on
their sewing We are sure it
must be important.
The girls are getting ready for
the fair next Friday. The first
year girls are making toys to ex-
hibit at the fair. They will also
exhibit some cooking The sec-
ond year girls are working on
garments for pre-school children.
The teachers had a meeting in
Brady last Friday Our teacher,
Mrs Harkey, was present at that
meeting. She took a number of
posters, pictures, initiation stunts
etc. of our work this year.
Some of the homemaking girls
were pop-corn and candy sales-
ladies at the ball game, Friday.
