Miss Isabelle Maude Parker,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Parker of Ooldthwaite. became
the bride of David Rupert, eon
of Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Rupert of
Cohaseett, Minn., Saturday af-
ternoon, November 23. 1957, at
3:00 o’clock In the study of the
First Baptist Church of Ooldth-
waite. Rev. Presnall H. Wood,
pastor, read the Impressive cer-
emony.
Funeral services for W. T.
(Will) Little of San Saba were
held In the Howell-Doran Cha-
pel at San Saba. Monday after-
noon, at 2:00 o’clock. Services
were conducted by Rev. Ten-
nison. pastor of the First Bap-
tist Church of San Saba and
Rev. Sam Taylor, a former pas-
tor. Burial was In Ooldthwaite
Memorial Cemetery
Funeral services for Henry P.
Harris. 72. were held In the
Ooldthwaite Church of Christ
Saturday afternoon. November
23. at 3:30 o'clock. Services were
conducted by D. W. Newton of
Abilene and Charles J. Hill, Jr.,
local Church of Christ minister
Burial was In the Oakvlew Cem-
etery at Mullln.
County Clerk, Walter A. Bry-
unt, has Issued marriage licen-

Miss Clara Bowman of Whar-
ton. who was on her way to
California to attend the wed-
ding of her brother, John Bow-
man. spent Tuesday night with
her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Bowman. Miss Bowman was
Joined by Mrs. BUI Scott and
daughter, Miss Billie 8cott of
San Angelo John Bowman of
Merced, California, and Miss
Billie Scott will be married De-
cember 1.

day, December 7. one year since

vllle, Evant and Star to Ooldth-
waite and from this place to
Brownwood and San Angelo ;tbe
other from Temple via Lam-
pasas and Lometa to this place
to Intersect the Waco-San An-
gelo road.
County Clerk Summy Issued
marriage license this week to
Wm. E. Oromatzky and Miss
Olga Meyer; C. P. Mauldin and
Mrs. Lee Davenport.
H. O. Forehand and wife and
Nath Ooode and wife have re-
turned from an automobile trip
to Knickerbocker, Ban Angelo

returned this week from a deer
hunt In Llano County. They
brought back a deer as an evi-
dence of their skill and marks-
man ship.
R. L. Armstrong, late of the
Moline country, has taken
charge of the Commercial Ho-
tel. He Is well known here and
everybody hopes him success In
the business.
Mrs. Mary C. Willingham died
at the family home In Trigger
Mountain community Monday
afternoon, death coming sud-
denly and causing a severe
shock to the entire family.
