Sorry, no letter last week.
That Is the first time I've failed
to get a letter in since 1 have
boon writing the news from
Mullin. I was Iced In last Mon-
day. so I did not get enough

.. Funeral services were conduc-
ted last Tuesday afternoon from
the Church of Ood for Mr. Har-
ry Stebblns, father of Mrs. W.
T. Lee of Mullin and Mrs. Junior
Fetty of Zephyr Mr. Stebblns
passed away in a Temple hos-
pital where he had been con-
fined for several years. Mr.
Stebblns was a retired mall
carrier out of Mullin, and he
was loved by all whom he serv
ad. v
Mrs. Burt Chesser now of
Brownwood, fell during thq icy
weather, breaking her shoulder.
Mr. and Mrs. Olynn Oavln
(Olenda Caldert have gone to
Florida where they plan to
make their home.
Mrs. Talmadge King is home
from a Dallas hospital where
she spent part of last week.
Also Mrs. Kll Edmondson has
returned to a Galveston hos-
pital for a check up.
Mrs. H. T. Deavers underwent
eurgery in a San Antonio hos-
pital last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Oran door of
▼an Court, Bobby, June and
Ann McCormick of Fort Worth
were all last weekend visitors
with Mrs. Vesta McCormick.
Mrs. E. L. Fisher and children.
8usan and Bill, visited last
weekend lh Abilene with her
parents, Mr.' and Mrs. W. D.
Hopkins.
Aunt Miranda Kittle, who
now lives In Brady, has been
here visiting with her sister,
Mrs. L. J. Vann.

Mullin attended the Golden
Gloves boxing tournament held
last week in Brownwood.

ted her 92nd birthday Saturday,
February 8th She was honored
with a birthday dinner at the
home of her daughter, Mrs.
Elsie Davee on 8unday. All of
her children along with friends

Last Rites For Henry H. Stebbins
Conducted In Mullin February 3
Funeral services for Henry H.
Stebblns were held Tuesday
afternoon. February 3, at 3
o’clock, In the Church of Ood
at Mullin. Services were con-
ducted by Charles J. Hill Jr., of
Ooldthwalte.
Mr. Stebblns was born Feb-
ruary 18, 1874 In Minnesota and
passed away In a Temple hos-
pital, February X, 1968. He was
a member of the Church of Ood.
He was a Rural Mall Carrier
for XT years at Mullin and was
a veteran of the Spanish Amer-
ican War. He made his home
With his children.
In 1914 he was united In
marriage with Annie B. Chil-
dren, of Mullin, who preceded
him In death.

Mrs. W. T. Lee of Mullin and
Mrs. O. 8. Petty Jr. of Zephyr;
five grandchildren and five
