July 1, 1973 is the date the
administration has set for re-
ducing draft calls to zero. After
this date the armed services
are to be all volunteer forces.
Numbers up to 195 drawn last
July for the 1971 draft fell on

A MOBILE state-federal field

at the Baytown Fairgrounds to
administer tests for brucellosis
in Harris County cattle. The
test is mandatory for all cattle,
except steers and spayed
heifers, over six years of age.
About 5.98 per cent of animals
tested so far in Harris County
have been found to be infected
