Police are investigating three
burglaries and an attempted
burglary believed connected
with one of the break-ins.
A coin-operated soft drink
machine at Maxine’s Washa-
teria was broken into Christmas
night and it appeared someone
tried to get into Leonard’s Mark-
et, across the street at 311 S,
Fourth, the same night. Patrol-
man L. V. Moreau reported.
About $8 was taken from the
machine.
A door window at the market
was broken and one of two locks
bad been unlocked, but the
burglar couldn't get the other
