Rebecca Houghton, eight-year-

Mrs. Charles Houghton Sr. of

in Baytown recently. Her grand-
mother said that she Is doing
fine. She Is in Gulf Coast Hos-
pital.
The Library Club of Qroaby
High School held its monthly
work night Tuesday night. About
lb enjoyed Christmas refresh-
ment* and viewed Jie TV show,
"Freedom's Finest Hour" the
sward winning documentary of
the American Revolution.
They filed material in the
vertical file, shelved magazines
and straightened book shelves.
The serving table was entered
with a Christmas toee and San-
ta. Puhch, sandwiches, cooldet
and candy were served.
MARINE ON LEAVE
Pfo. Sam R. Parker, son of
Mr. and Mn. H. £. Parker, is
home on a 30-day leave from
the Marine base at Camp Pen-
dleton, Calif. He will return
there for one month and then
go to Viet Nam.

and Mrs. R. T. Wright, Is
member of the girls' debate
learn at Lee College. She la a
1966 Oosby graduate. Her team
lad four wins and two losses
and received a certificate of
excellence at the Louisiana Tech
Tounament recently. In interpre-
tive reading she got an outstand-
ing rating.
