Couple To Give
Sample of Coffee
From Trailer
Joe and Helen Eatman, an at-
tractive young couple driving
a cream colored kitchen trailer
and station wagon, known as
Nestle’s Hospitality Caravan,
will be host and hostess to res-
idents of Hidalgo County on
Feb. 8. The Eatmans will invite
passersby at Mercedes, as well
as patrons of Minimax Food-
Liner, to try Nescafe Instant
Coffee or EverReady Cocoa, a hot
chocolate drink.
Joe, an ex-University of Ala-
bama football star and highly
decorated World War II veteran,
and Helen, a pretty, green-eyed
brunette, have the pleasant job
of travelling across the country
demonstrating two refreshing
Nestle products. They are pre-
pared to give recipes as well as
answer anyone’s questions about
Nescafe or EverReady Cocoa.
The Hospitality Caravan is the
only travelling demonstration
outfit of its kind operated by a
food manufacturing concern and,
for this reason, the Eatmans
claim to be pioneers. “We’re
doing our pioneering much more
comfortably than the covered
wagon crowd did a century ago,”
he says.
