meet at the church next Tuesday
afternoon at 3 o’clock. All members

Twin babies, a girl and a boy,
were born to Mr. and Mrs. B. R.
Averett of Newcastle at the Graham
Hospital Thursday night.

Mrs. Allard Vandiver of Welling-
ton, Texas, who before her recent
marriage was Mist. Mary Lee Re-
pass, was honored at a breakfast
given by Misses Velma Anderson
and Jean Parsons Sunday morning,
March 19, at the Shield Cafe.
The guest list included: Mrs. Mar-
guerite Boyle, Mrs. Lee Hunter, Miss
Blanche Repass, Miss Pat Cusen-
bary, Mrs. Fred Bush of Jacksboro,
Mrs. Vandiver and the hostesses.
J. M. Cavasos suffered a frac-
tured pelvic bone Thursday in a
fall at the Cosden lease east of
Graham. He was taken to the Gra-
ham Hospital after receiving emer-
gency treatment at the Griffin
Clinic.

quietly married Wednesday evening,
March SI, in Lawton, Oklahoma.
The ceremony was performed by
Dr. Oren C. Reid, pastor of the
First Baptist Church of Lawton.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. (Charles O. Parsons. She
was reared in Graham, and graduat-
ed from the Graham High School.
Mr. Cate is a salesman for the
Olmstead-Kirk Paper Co. of Dallas
and Fort Worth.
Mr. and Mrs. Cate will make their
home in Fort Worth.

at the home of Mrs. Lou Bolander,
with Mrs. Adel Humphries and Mrs.
O. C. Elliott as co-hostesses.
Mrs. T. D. McAfee presided dur-
ing the business session, in which
plans were completed for an all-day
meeting of the club in April.
Honoring Mrs. 0. C. Elliott and
Mrs. A. Humphries on their birth-
days, the club members presented
