may qualify to have one
prepared free of charge
through a partnership be-
tween ExxonMobil in
Baytown, Reid Strickland
& Gillette LLP, Locke
Lord LLP, Houston Volun-
teer Lawyers and the city
of Baytown.
Those interested must
call Houston Volunteer
Lawyers, a United Way
of Baytown Area partner
agency, at 713-228-0735
weekdays July 8-12 to
determine if they qualify.
Evaluation will be on the
basis of income. •
Applicants who qualify
for a free will must go to

between 1-4 p.m. July 19
at Baytown Community

Goose Creek CISD to par-
ticipate for the last eight
Ten Goose Creek CISD
teachers had the' oppor-
tunity to hone teaching
skills, enhance curricula
and discover new ways
to inspire students to pur-
sue careers in math and
science recently at the
Mickelson ExxonMobil
Teachers Academy at The
Woodlands Resort.
PGA golfer Phil Mick-
elson, his wife, Amy, and
ExxonMobil sponsor the
all-expense paid profes-
sional development, in
conjunction with the Na-
tional Science Teachers
Association and Math
Solutions. ExxonMobil
has made it possible for

“This year the academy
brought in teachers from
around the globe, includ-
ing Qatar and Australia,”
Connie Tilton, ExxonMo-
bil Baytown area public
and government affairs,
said.

grade, from Lamar Ele-
mentary; Deborah Hill,
