- to name a few. Nancy
has attended many Texas
District and Pilot Inter-
national training councils
and conventions over the
years.
Nancy received a Bach-
elor of Arts degree, from
University of Texas in
Austin, where she met
husband, Pat. Nancy
worked as Librarian at
St Joseph Catholic Ju-
nior High School, and
the Archdiocese of Gal-
veston-Houston Catholic
School District Libraries.
She also worked at Ster-
ling High School Library
and the Sterling Munic-
ipal Library. She has a
passion for Education
- for learning and for
leading those to learning.
Nancy, and husband, Pat,
who passed away this past
year, long time members
of St Joseph Catholic
Church, have been active
community leaders for
many years.
Nancy and Pat’s three
sons grew up in Baytown,
have since moved away
and are successful in busi-
ness. There are a number
of Marih grandchildren
in various stages of edu-
cation and successful ca-
reers.
Nancy also currently
serves on the Lee College
Foundation Board and the
Foundation Fundraising
Committee where funds
are raised for college
scholarships. She is an
avid reader and serves as
a current leader in her Book
Club.

Bayland Park boat ramp
to close for ExxonMobil drill
Bayland Park “Buddy McBride” Boat Ramp and the
Wetlands Center Boat Ramp and parking lot will be
closed to the public starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday,
Sept. 30, until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1.
During this time, residents may use Roseland Park
Boat Ramp as an alternative Boat Ramp site.
ExxonMobil will be conducting an emergency pre-
paredness exercise with the City of Baytown and other
agency partners.
