MAKING SENSE OF INVESTING
■‘This march of remem-
brance is just to let every-
one know that yes this re-
ally happened and people
can overcome tragedy and
triumph,” said Aarons. “If
you think there is no hope,
there is."
Baytown’s march is ac-
tual Iv-one of seven march-
es being held in different
I louston area locations
this weekend. Marches
are also taking place in
Spring. Kingwood. Chap-
pell Hill. Houston. Mis-
souri City and Braeswood,
In 2012, the first March
of Remembrance was he ld
in Houston, but this year
the scope was expanded to
other Houston areas, said
Dr. Jim Gill, interim pas-
tor at Faith Presbyterian.
“If you pinpoint the lo-
cations around Houston
on a map. they form the
Star of David." Gill said
"That's how the locations
were chosen.''
Since 2007. the March
of Remembrance lias been
taken annually through-
out the United States oh.
Yom HaShoah (Holocaust
Remembrance Day) to
show solidarity among
those who stand against
anti-Semitism and in re-
membrance of what hap-
pens when people remain
silent about indifference
and prejudice.
The March of Remem-
brance is a sister to the
March of Fife in Europe.
“It is important to ex-
press solidarity with our'
brothers and sisters of the
Jewish faith and take a
stand against anti-Semi-
tism," Gill said. "We want
to work to make sure that
this kind of thing never
happens again."
. Organizers arc hoping
for 100 marchers to attend
the event.
Of special note is the ar-
rival of three people who
are coming Baytown from
Germany
The guests from Germa-
ny are Thomas Walden,
Jan Walden ami Markus
Kalb:
“They are descendents
of perpetrators and are
coming to ask for forgive-
ness as an act of reconcili-
ation," Gill said.
Besides Faith Presbyte-
rian and Knesseth Israel,
other faith participants
include St. Mark's United
Methodist. Trinity Epis-
copal, St. Paul's Lutheran,
Church on the Rock. Bak-
er Road Baptist, and St.
John the Evangelist Cath-
olic Church.
Gill added that along the
march's route are p'rayer
stations set up so people
can stop and pray, in addi-
tion to historical markers
and photos of Holocaust
victims and those who
rescued people during that
time
March of remembrance
locations focus on a differ-
ent areas impacted by the
Holocaust In Baytown,
marchers will focus on
Hungary. Gill said.
In addition, the Chris-
tian motorcycle group.
Soldiers for Jesus, will
escort the walkers in
Bax town.

Question: Are Hebrews(Jews) and
Arabs related?
Answer: Yes, they are Cousins.
Both have the same Father,
Abraham
The Arabs are descendants of Ishmael and
the Hebrew’s (lews) are descendants of Isaac.
The Lord promised to bless both Isaac and
Ishmael but, the promise of Messiah comes
through Isaac.
