COMPLAINT
CONTINUED FROM PAGE 1
“The officer attempted to open
the female’s car door and she nearly
slammed the officer’s hand in between
the door and the frame as she closed
the door,” police said.
Police said they had no choice
but to use stun guns and had to do
so several times in order to arrest
White.
As White was arrested, police
also used a Taser on her husband
Christopher after he refused several
commands to back away and wrestled
with and nearly over-powered an
officer, according to police.
But the Whites maintain there
was no reason for police to use
such force on them.
“For them to treat people like that
for no reason at all is not right,”
Jodi White told a KHOU11 reporter.
Baytown police arrested the couple
on disorderly conduct charges and
took them to Baytown City Jail,
where they remained for about an
hour before paying their fines and
being released, police said.
