Joseph Clarke
Brewer
Joseph Clarke Brewer,
91, passed away Monday
June 24,2013 at his home
in San Antonio, Texas fol-
lowing a brief illness.

63 years, Peggy (Jones)
Brewer; his daughter Jo-
anna Crespin and husband
Tom Crespin, daughter
Cresa Davis and husband
Charlie Davis, and son Jo-
seph Brewer Jr. and wife
Sandy Brewer, ten grand-
children and eleven great
grandchildren.
Joe was bom in Meridi-
an, Mississippi on August
17, 1921 to Willie and
Elizabeth Brewer. Eliz-
abeth Brewer moved to
south Texas when he was
an infant and both became
lifelong residents. In his
early years he attended
school in Highlands and
Baytown. After gradu-i
ating from Robert E. bee
High School, he served
with the United States Air
Force as a Staff Sergeant,
returning to Baytown,
Texas when his duty
was complete. He had the
opportunity to work for
Humble Oil and Refinery
(ExxonMobil) from 1943
until 1985, retiring after
42 years.
He not only took pride
in his work but enjoyed
the friendships he and
Peggy made while serv-
ing their church, Trinity
Tabernacle Assembly of
God in Baytown, Texas.
He and Peggy were avid
travelers and made life-
long friendships in their
retirement years while
traveling with the Avion
Travel Club for 30 years.
Visitation will be held
on Wednesday evening
June 26, 2013 from 6:00
to 8:00 PM. The funer-
al service is planned for
Thursday June 27, 2013,
10 AM, at Earthman
Baytown Funeral Home
in Baytown, Texas, with
burial at Memory Gar-
dens.

Carroll Lee Bagley, 74
of Dayton passed away
on Sunday, June 23, 2013
at Clear Lake Regional
Hospital in Clear Lake.
He was a loving, father,
grandfather, and friend.
Funeral services will
be held at 10:00 A.M. on
Thursday, June 27, 2013
at First Baptist Church
in Dayton under the di-
rection of Sterling Fu-
neral Home in Dayton.
Interment will follow in
Linney Cemetery. Mili-
tary Honors and Masonic
Rites will be given at the
cemetery. A gathering in
Carroll Lee’s family and
friends will be from 5:00
to 8:00 P.M. on Wednes-
day, June 26 at the funeral
home.
Carroll Lee was preced-
ed in death by his wife,
Delores Bagley; parents,
Mabson Lee Bagley and
Lottie Mae Bagley. He
was a member of First
Baptist Church of Day-
ton for many years. Car-
roll Lee was a member
of American Legion Post
512 where he was a past
sgt-at-arms; and a fifty
year Mason and a member
of Masonic Lodge in Day-
ton. He was past president
of Region 1 Citizen Police
Academy Alumni Associ-
ation; Master Gardener,
and the Dayton Chamber
of Commerce.
Carroll Lee is survived
by his sons, Keith Bag-
ley and wife, Adriann;
Kenneth Bagley and
wife, Dawn; W. Bryan
Bagley and wife, Re
bekah; daughter, Cassan
dra Gill; grandchildren
Nolan Bagley and wife
Lesleigh, Weldon, Ali
cia, Brennan, Jenna and
William Bagley, Justin
and Ashleigh Gill, and a
host of other family and
friends.

Hebei
Torn (M.T.) Hebei died
June 21. 2013. He was
bom December 7, 1919,
22 years before the Pearl
Harbor Attack.
He was educated in the
Goose Creek Schools, Lee
College, and Baylor Uni-
versity and was a WWH
veteran. Tom retired from
Exxon Research Center
in Baytown.
He and Lea Robbins
Hebei were married for
54years.Tomissurvived
by two daughters, Eliza-
beth and Patricia and their
husbands Chris and
Kirk. Two grand-daugh-
ters Lauri and Ljsa and
Lauri’s husband Brant.
Three grand-sons Ben,
T.J., and Cody and their
wives Jennifer and Jessi-
ca along with a pick-up
truck full of great-grand-
children.
A Memorial Service
will be held Wednesday,
June 26, 2013 at 5:00 pm
at St. Marks United Meth-
odist Church, Baytown
Texas. Visitation will fol-
low.
