When the individual farmer to
determine whether or not he will
follow his file leader the Cotton
Growers' association we wish to
suggest to him the following con-
sideration#:
If he should be moved by the
thought that his neighbors or the
South generally might follow his
leadership and plant a small crop
and that he could by planting u
laiare cron. net a full mice for it.
thill he will be substantially a specu-
lator. \ speculator is one who takes
ι chance or makes a guess. He
would be guesing or hazarding that
planters generally would follow the
advice of their association.
The other course for him and
one free front any danger is 10
plant a full crop of foodstuff for man
and beast and a resultingly smaller
crop of cotton. D\ ihi* course he
would 1»· safe either if a large crop
or a small crop should be planted. If
a large crop should hi planted he
I would have* a relatively small crop
