Feb. 2L—Who said spring was
here? For Old Man Winter sure did
play havoc the past two weeks, all
of the farmers tomatoes are a com-
plete loss. There are just a few to-
matoes saved. But all the farmers
have replanted and probably will
take them right out of the hot
beds into the fields, all the barley
and oats, gardens and flowert, axe
badly damaged. They were so pret-
ty before the freeze, all the fields
are so wet that it will take a week
or two before the fanners can do
anything in the field. The roads are
in a bad condition, after all this
rain. But it seems like this isn’t all
of the rain yet but In hopes that
it will change soon.
