The Interact Club is also think-
,ing about sponsoring another
volleyball game. The teaches
play against the students in this
game, creating a great deal of in-
terest and escitment for all
ANCHOR CLUB
The Regional Anchor Club
meeting jvas held in the Ross
. Sterling cafeteria Saturday, Nov
' 20. Sterling’s Anchor Club was in
charge of this affair.
At this meeting, Anchor Gub
members 'from* neighboring
cities and towns were present
They exchanged ideas with each
other and discussed many other
topics.
The Sterling Anchor Gub also
presented these visitors with
welcome bags. These bags con
tained useful itgms that came in
handy at tht meeting. -
Wendy Olney and Cindy
Ancelet, two members of the
club, participated in a style show
luncheon at the Compass Club.
The other members were invited
to attend this special show.
As their project for December,
the Ahchor Club members gave
a Christmas party for the
children at the Child Day Care
Center on Neal Street. This party
was held Monday. Dec. 20
At this party, gifts and toys
were given to the children. The
Hfchildren had a special treat
because Santa Claus, alias Jay
: Zorn, distributed the gifts

Members Of the.Keywanettes
have named Johnny Kellogg as
their beau. Johnny is involved in
various school activities. He is a
member of the Student Council,
the Interact Club, and played
football on the varsity team.
As their Christmas project, the
Keywanettes donated tricycles
to the Child Center and $25 to
(ioodfellows. ”
For their own entertainment,

Kenda Erhst's house. Members
exchanged gifts and presented
their sponsors and beau gifts

Christmas party Saturday, Dec
18. At this party. Mr. and Mrs
' Santa Claus were selected from

members. These students had
the honor of passing out all of

hard work.
Honor Society have begun work
ing on their fund-raising project
They sell roses, songs and singing . . . Greg Worzel takel a'
messages for Valentine Day
On Feb. 14, the NHS members
deliver the .roses'; songs and
messages to students.
Members have begun making
the red roses, whfch take quite a
bit< of time to make,
members will mate at least 20
roses each.for this project
The money made through the
sales'-will be used for five
scholarships to senior members
and the end-of-school banquet

Donna Hullum, a member of
the* Sentinel staff, has been
promoted .from business
manager to co-editor o( the
Sterling Sentinel.
Donna and Wynona Franklin
will work as co-editors'for the
rest of the school year
The editors are in charge of
the production of the school
newspaper. They proofread the
newspaper with other staff
members and write the
editorials and other important
articles.
