ternoon. Italian warships belong-j
ing to the Ionian squadron encoun- j
tered a flotilla of Turkish destroy-j
ers cruising off the coast of Espirus. ;
The Italians promptly attacked the
flotilla and two Turkish ships were
badly damaged by the shells.
