Autumn in Texas. What does it
mean?
To editorial assistant Lori Moffatt,
it's 'a tim : to walk under _- lear blue
sky and enjoy the splendi. array of
seasonal cos': that Texas offers.
From the heights of the Guadalupe

Tex .s, hikers, bicy lers, campers,
and photographers take advantage of
autumn's brilliant bounty.

strolling, and boatir g, Rosie recom-

Jonesville still attracts Hollywood
location scouts, and in Fruitvale,

The past also harbors painful
memories, free-lancer Ruth Brodsky
reminds us in her piece on the Dallas
Memorial Center for Holocaust
Studies. As a memorial to the Jews
who perished at the hands of the
Nazis and as a tribute to the survi-
vors, the museum offers an unusual
and powerful approach to enlighten
visitors: Holocaust survivors or one of
their adult children end each tour
