Happy New Veer to everyone!
I hope everyone had a won-
derful Christmas.
We had Christmas with our
children. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest
Jernigam We had a lovely
Christmas Dinner and after
that we had our tree with old
Santa Claus there In person.
Everyone received so many
nice present*. All our child-
ren and grandchildren were
present. They were as follows:

We really enjoyed our Chlst-
mas.
We spent Christmas Day with
our children at Waco and went
on to Wortham and had lunch
with our daughter-in-law's rel-
atives, Mr. and Mrs. R. R.
Eteming and Mr. and Mrs.
,\rnj}ld Keeling and family. We
had such a wonderful day.
Friday evening about five
o'clock our granddaughter Car-
mlyn called and we went to
Brnwnwood and got her. 3ie
stayed until Saturday then went
on to Waco to visit her parents,
the Chill Smith*.

ringing. Our old neighbor. Mrs.
Lucy Karnes, and Mr. Jim
Hamrick of San Saba were mar-
ried at MulHn They were av»l-
dents of Hlllvlew Manor and
are now at tlieir home on the
Prtddy road in Goldthwaite. We
all send them congratulations
and good wishes.

Perry went to Ft. Worth to
the Fred Perry family reunion.
Mrs. Perry spent the Christ-
mas and New Year holiday
there and returned home Wed-
nesday.
Mr. and Mrs. p. L. Harris
have, been visiting Mrs. Winnie
May Brown often at the Child-
ress Hospital. At last report
she was doing nicely. We wish
all the sick folks a_ speedy
recovery.

ber of their old friends at the

the holidays.
Mrs. Pearl 'fiipman was sick
a few days with a cold. At
