shall. They also visited In the
home of their " father, Henry
Ezzell.
Mrs. Elmer Berry has been
quite sick at her home on their
ranch near Scallorn.
Mrs. Jim Rudd is In San Ange-
lo with her son, Omar, who is
seriously 111.
Mrs. J. D. Hadley of Waco
spent several days with her sis-
ter, Mrs. W. H. Linkenhoger.
Mrs. Hadley and Mr. and Mrs.
Linkenhoger spent V E Day with
her nephew and their son, W. W,
Linkenhoger, and family In
Eastland. Mrs. Hadley left
Thursday morning for Hereford
to visit her niece, Miss Sadie

attended the Kerrville District
Methodist Conference at Kerr-
ville Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Mark Oeeslln
and daughter of Stephenville
were in Goldthwaite Tuesday
and Tuesday night with her
mother, Mrs. J. D. McKinzie.
H H Virden of La Luz, New
Mexico, arrived Sunday night
for an extended visit with his
sister. Mrs. John Keese, and oth-
er relatives.
Mrs. J. C. Mullan and Mrs.
John C. Evans returned Tuesday
night. Mrs. Mullan visited her
children in Waco, Grand Prairie,
Dallas and Fort Worth, while
Mrs. Evans visited her daughter,
Mrs L P. McElroy in Dallas.
Miss Mary Clem of Waco spent
the week-end with Mr. and Mrs.
Alton Stewart.
Rev. and Mrs. J. R. Hillard and
two sons of Kerrville were guests
in the home of Rev. and Mrs. C.
C McKinney Sunday. Rev. Hill-
ard conducted the evening ser-
vie at the Methodist church.

day In Brownwood attending
business.

ed away at 12:35 a. m. May 9th,

walte, Texas.
Also surviving are 34 grand-
children and 52 great granchll-
dren.
Funeral services were held at
10:00 o’clock Thursday morning
at the First Baptist Church.
Burial was In the Odd Fellow
Cemetery, San Saba.

Mrs. Willson was bom August
7, 1856, In Shelby County, Ala-
bama, and came to Ttxaa with
her parents at the age of 9 years.
She ^became a member of the
First Baptist Church at the age
of 18.
In 1876 Nora C. Russell was
united In marriage to Ed Kendall
and to this union were born six
children, 4 boys and 2 girls, all of
whom survive. In San Saba, Tex-
as, on March 8,1893-the husband
and father died. Mrs. Kendall
and her children moved to Ham-
ilton County In a covered wagon,
where she managed to keep to-
gether a home for them; and In
1894 she was married to W. W.
Willson. Two children, a boy
and girl, were born to this un-
ion. Mr. Willson preceeded his
wife in death In 1926.
Mrs. Willson’s survivors in-
olude five sons, Otto Russell

Miss Kathleen Lockrldge.
Pompey Mt. closed the last of
the week Hie closing exercise
were enjoyed by a large crowd.
W. H. Wasserman, Mrs. Lewis
Turner and Mrs. Clyde Hodges
taught .a very successful school.
Miss Alberta Is at home a few
days this week entertaining the
mumps.
Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Mattox of
Llano visited Mrs. Mattox’s par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. R. T. Vaughn
Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs.
Vaughn wept home with them
for a few days visit.
Mrs. Lizzie Young, who broke
her ankle six weeks ago, was In
Goldthwaite last week to see the
