art exhibit.

A fire alarm about noon yes-
terday called the fire depart-
ment to the residence of J. L.
Poland In the southern portion
of the city. Fire from a kit-
chen stove did slight damage.
In a morning service of
charm and simplicity Miss
Helen Kuhn, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Geo Kuhn, became
the bride of John Keel of this
city at the First Methodist
Church. The Rev. Virgil Fish-
er read the marriage service.
Moth Mr. and Mrs. Keel are
University of lexas graduates
Miss Ella Warren and Tobe
Cox were united In marriage
at the residence of Elder 1. A.
Dychea Thursday. The bride Is
the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Warren.
Mr. and Mrs. T. &. Gerald,
together wtth their children,
grandchildren and other rela-
tive*. enjoyed a family reunion
In their home here laat Sunday.
These are annual affairs with
the Gerald family. A number
of friends slso cslled during
the day.
A good many Goldthwalte
people are already making Im-
provements in pr pa ration for
the showing to be made for
Texas Uentennisl visitors next
