On Friday, August 29th, Mies
Pamela Hamilton and Charles
Miles were Joined in holy
matrimony. The wedding waa
held in the Ftret Baptist
Church of Goldtowatte. The
pastor officiating the ceremony
was David Crosby, assistant
pastor of Gladewater Baptist
Church.
Parents of the cotg>le are
Mr. and Mrs. Jack R. Hamil-
ton of Bier and Mr. and Mrs.
Jude Miles of Star.
The bride, given In marriage
by her father, wore a V-necked
dress of satin covered with
chiffon and trimmed with lace.
A lace covered yolk encircled
her wslst. The short pufT
sleeves were of chiffon, alao
trimmed in lace. Her veil,
which was alao her train, waa
made of white netting edged with
wide lace. On the lace were
pearls and small rhinestones.
The heetfaiece was a simple
headband covered with lace.
Her bouquet of carnations had
a green cymbldtan orchid In
the center.
Mrs. Nathan Carothers, the
pianlat, played "We've Only
Just Begim" and "The Lord’s
Prayer” while Tom Crosby
sang. Be played “Wedding
Prayer", "The Twelfth of
Never", "Love Theme to
Romeo and Juliet", and others
as guests were being seated.
The maid of honor was
Sherry Jones of Star. Other
bridesmaids were Diannr Claay
of .Star and Janet Crosby of
Gladewater. Both are sisters
of the bride. Their dresses
were of blue and green dotted
Swiss. They carried white satin
and lace fans with blur and
green carnations on them.
Their hats had blue and green
satin ribbon around thrm with
lace on the ribbon. Joy Nell
Hamilton, also a sister of the
bride, wore a long blue dress
and carried a basket of blur
and green carnations.
Harold Miles, brother of the
groom, served as the groom's
tiest man. Barry Miles, also a
brother, and Ronnie McMillian
were groomsmen. Ushers were
James Woodson Clary and Ran-
dal Miles, brother of tha groom.
Canties were lighted by Jack
and Bill Hamilton, brothers of
the bride.
The church altar was decor
a ted with two white candelabras
entwined with greenery. Two
fern trees added to the green
cry, and two arrangements of
glad tolas balanced the setting.
A table covered with a white
sheer table cloth held a family
btble and the unity randies.
The reception waa held in
the banquet room of the church.

of the Mills County Bank. The
dinner was hosted by Mr. and
Mrs. Klaffl Miles and Mr and
Mrs. Danny Miles.
