The Tiger band has been
sweepstakes organization
for two years ami in 1963
was a contender for honor
band of Texas, ending up in
fourth position.
The Tiger band this year,
will be out to cop the top
honor in Texas with prime
competition from neighbor-
ing Weslaco and Snyder, Tex.
Most observers believe the
state honor band will be one
of the three and some con-
tend the state honor band in
AAA will be a valley organ-
ization, either Weslaco ar
Mercedes High Schools. ,
