Adopt-A-Family Program Helps Needy In Our Area As of Thursday, Dec. 12, 89 Fort Worth Division departments had made plans to 'adopt' approxi- mately 160 needy families through Adopt-A- Family, the division's primary holiday season char- ity effort. Jamie Norman coordinated the program this
year for the division's National Management Association chapter. Lists of needy families were provided by three area service organizations: Butler Housing, West Aide and Family Services. The program allows department members to pool their resources to make the holidays brighter for families that are less fortunate. Many of these families would have no Christmas at all without the help they receive from GD employees. Adopt-A-Family participants are congratulated and commended for their generous and caring spirit this holiday season.
