committee today declared that "FUr
many years the people of Brown
county have been wanting rood
roads, and hundred of interested
citizens have been thinking of plans
for providing the need. In three
former attempts to solve the prob-
lem, programs for road development
were not approved because for
various reasons they were not re-
garded as satisfactory. The pres-
ent road building program was de-
veloped by a committee rcpM'sent-
ing the whole county, and provide*
for road building all over the coun-
ty. It Will enable the county to
secure a million and a quarter dol-
lars from the state and federal gov-
ernments for the construction of
