steel-covered monev wagon of the
Pittsburgh Terminal doal Company,

the murder of Isaiah Oump anoth-
er guard, during the holdup of an-
other pay car near MoUenaui, Pa.,
shortly before Christmas. 1925. This
job netted $48,000
Other desperate robberies and
brutal murders were also laid to
Jawarskl and his gang.

In August. 19TJ. this man. re-
garded as one of the most desper-
ate criminals in the country, shot
his way out of the Allegheny oounty
Jail at Pittsburgh, short.: > before he

he. too, had sung in that little
church chotr at Butler. Pennsylvan-
