and baseball at the Brownwood
college Until a year ago. LeMay
was employed by Oulf Oil Corpo-
ration
Survivors Include his wife and
daughter. Rosary will be recited
for LeMay tonight and funeral ser-
vices will be conducted here Tues-
day.

county In the District 8 Intcrscho-
lastlc League basketball meet here
this weekend will be at stake to-
night when the Brownwood High
Lions and the Bulldogs of Zephyr
battle for the county championship
The contest will be played In the
Daniel Baker gymnasium, begin-
ning at 8 o’clock. Preceding this
game, the Junior teams of Brown-
wood High and Early will meet for
the county championship In their
class.

the Brown County Interscholastic

night at Memorial Hall.

quintet accepting personal respon-
sibilities in seeing that a Howard
Payne victory marked the opening
of the fine new gymnasium, the
Jackets outplayed and outhustled
their opponents all the way. And
(he Cowboys themselves were pul-
ling out all they had. hoping to
repeat history by whining the ded-
icatory contest.
The Cowboys won a two-game
dedicatory series Jan. 28-29, 1924, at
the old gymnasium by 19-15 and
33-13 scores.
