good, to say the least, as the following']
inquiry from Ciilfonila imli-utes;

u week ago issue and the one pie-
> vlous to this— that I may learn of the
high water conditions around Crystal
City as I ex|S‘et to lie a resident of
your district in the near fntute.
Following is Mr., Williams' article
from the light:
We are ail for the Winter Gulden
region, lock, stock and barrel. And
time we hear of cutastro) lie and ca-
luniaties down there, 'we know those
.same tilings can happen any place, and
don't get all fussed up about it.
What do we care whether those tales
of eatastroi lies and dainitgeous phe-
nomenons are erroneously reported or
not? That is, wluit do we iiersointlly
care? Ain't we still strong for them—
strong as horse radish?
Homebody lias been a-pokin fun at j
the folks ef Crystal City about a re-|
cent rise in the river there, evidently. |
That's what we get out of the I,a Pry

“Our good friend. Kditor llardy of

Mrs. James made an interesting re-
port on Mexican work, with a good
pastor on the field the work is pro-
gressing nicely. They w'ill soon or-
ganize a Wcman's Auxiliary.
A motion was made by Mrs. Heady
that we order two dozen booklets
"Things We Should Know:" the cor-
- responding Secretary. Mrs. Stripling
I was instructed to order the hooks.
The next meeting will l*e a Hilili

Airs. Wit inright.
The women who miss these Bible

Course chairman by the Association
and we should Is- proud to have her
in our midst. Mrs. Beady was made
chairman of Benevolence and Aid at
the last meeting of the Association.
We are fortunate in having two Asso-

The all-day meeting will meet with

to all tlie ladles in town to meet with
at night.
