sued out of the Honorable Justice
dburt of Prect No. 1, Grayson Co.,
Texas, on the 18th day of February,
1935, by Jess Wall, Justice of Peace
of said Court for sum of Sixty
and 25-100 Dollars and costs of suit,
under a Judgment, in favor of The
W. T. Rawleigh Co., Inc. in a certain
cause in said Court, No. 984 and
styled The W. T. Rawlegh Co., Inc.
vs. H. R. McNiel, plaqed in my hands
for service. I, Everett Anglin as Sher-
iff of Zavala County, Texas, did, on
the 19th day of March 1936, levy on
certain Real Estate, situated in Za-
vala County, Texas, described as fol-
lows, to-wit:
Lots 8, 9, and 10 in Block 150 in
Crystal City, Zavala County, Texas,
and Farms 17 to 20 inclusive and 29
to 32 inclusive in Section 145 of the
Cross S Ranch, in Zavala County,
Texas, and levied upon as the prop-
erty of H. R. McNiel and that on the
first Tuesday in May, 1936, the same
being the 5th day of said month, at
the Court House door of Zavala
County, in the City of Crystal City,
Texas, between the hours of 10 a. m.
and 4 p. m., by virtue of said levy
and said execution I will sell said
above described Real Estate at pub-
lic vendue, for cash, to the highest
bidder, as the property of said H. R.
McNiel.
And in compliance with law, I give
this notice by publication, in the
English language, once a week for
three consecutive weeks immedia'e-
lv preceding said day of sale, in the
Zavala County Sentinel, a newspaper
published in Zavala County.
Witness my hand, this 7th day of
April, 1936.

Mrs Holmes nodded. In a few
words she told her callers about

from her words they drew pretty ac-
curate conclusions as to the relations
existing between her and her boy.
For perhaps an hour Vogel and Lo-
pez took turns questioning the wo-

read it in typewritten form, then
