bedrooms and bathroom.
How these rooms are arranged and
their sizes are shown on the lloor
plans which accompanies the exterior
view of the house. It will he noted
that the living room extends practical-

ception of space for the entrance hall
and the stairs leading to the second
floor. Pack of the living room is the
dining room and to the right are the
breakfast nook and kitchen. The
steep pitch of the roof is broken by

window on either side permits excel-

for profitable development.
Let’s keep the same idea in mind
with our town proj>erty. If we run the
price up fro high ninny good enter-
prise.-, and people who would make us
good citizens will pass us up, and as a
consequence our town will not grow as
it should.
Finally, let’s not expect a big h.tvii
and the whole district to grow up over
eight. It is enough and better for us
if we nu have a good, substantial
growth tor several years than to have
a boom which would inflate values and
give us a setback when the reaction
comes.

MKTHOD FOR DESTROYING
ANTS.
(San Antonio Light)
A new system of ridding the yard
of ants has been discovered by J. V.
McKee,, 41H H. New Braunfels Ave.
It has been tested thoroughly and
is simple, economical, and effective,
according to Mr. Keese.
Take an ordinary bottle, most any
size but preferably a pint or quart,
and after spading the ant den up, dig
a hole and sink the bottle In it until
the opening on the neck of the bottle
Is level with the surface.
The disturbed ants, searching for
their bole, fall Into the bottle and
can’t get out Even a fruit Jar or wa-
ter glass will work aa well aa a bottle
If there ia a little grease placed around
tbe inside near the top
Mr. McKee caught all tbe ants In
two beds In bia yard In a few mlautaa.
