1924, for a long deterred visit to

were feared; hut this was tollowed
four days later hy heart failure,
and the patient died immediately.
The couple had for some time been
'homesick" for West Texas, had se-
cured a passport extension, and
were planning to return to Crock-
ett County as soon as convenient.
"Mrs Otto," as she was called
by all her friends, was of the suu
niest possible disposition, Iwing
rarely ever serious long at a time
She was cordial, and even jolly, to-
ward all, and affectionate, loiirud
