Leland Pettus, father of Benny
Pettus, was injured in an automobile
accident in Fort Worth recently.
Miss Patsy Cunningham of Baylor
University spent the week-end with
her mother, Mrs. Josie Cunningham.
Mr. and Mrs. Don Davis, Richard
and Donnie spent Sunday at Turner
Falls, Okla.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nix have re-
turned from Denver, Colorado, where
Mr. Nix was taking special training
with Eastman Company. They report
a delightful visit with friends and
relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Grant Looney spent
Mother’s Day in the home of Mrs.
Looney’s mother, Mrs. Nora Jackson,

Walter Hill, Route 3, is recovering
at Parkland Hospital from injuries
received in a baseball game Friday
night between Hickory Tree Baptist
and First Presbyterian. Hill’s left
leg was broken above the ankle as
he slid into third base. McCullough
ambulance took him to the hospital.
