Caught In n fcrirerTnlntcd Pool and
Sold In Tort Worth
One of the unexpected baneful effects
of low water In the Trinity has Just
come to light
Tor some time past the water has
not been running at a rolnt below
Dahlmans refrigerator and the stag-
nant pool thus formed has been re-
ceiving the contents of the sewer at
that point So filthy has the water
become that the fish may be seen
swarming out near the banks gasping
and djlng In large numbers Some
parties havo taken advantage of this
state ot things to make large catches
there and a da or two ago a lot of-
fish about tin ee or four hundred
pounds were brought up to town and
arc supposed to have been sold tn the
market Yesterdaj morning Borne bo > s
were seen bringing another lot tip
from the creek It is feared that th
consumption of these fish may cause
sickness among the people and timely
yarning has been given by a citizen
who was aware of the facts In order to
prevent as far as possible the disas-
trous consequences that might result
