Dinner October 13 Te
Feature Style Show
And Beauty Contest
Because of the popular de-
mand for tickets for the bene-
fit supper the Committee on
Arrangements has announced
that the dinner has been shift-
ed to the Emanu El auditorium
so as to accomodate the large
crowd expected to attend. This
Dinner, being held on October
13th, will mark the 106th anni-
versary of the founding of
B’nai B’rith.
The Charity Dinner is to cost
$1.25 per person, and all monies
received from the sale of tickets
will be given to the three insti-
tutions receiving support from
District 7 B’nai B’rith. The
B’nai Home and Hospital for
the Aged at Memphis has in-
cluded a program for the care
of the aged sick and is now
within its bed capacity limit of
90. The Leo N. Levi Hospital
at Hot Springs gives care and
attention to the arthritic sick
and has aided in curing thous-
ands of indigent people who
otherwise might not have had
a chance for a normal life. The
Jewish Children’s Home is now
servicing the children of the
Southwest with a more in-
tensified program.
The cost of the dinner will be
borne by Herzl Lodge itself,
and every penny collected from
the sale of tickets will go di-
rectly to the three institutions,
