ASSOCIATION
The Parents and Teachers as-
sociation met at the II gli .school
building last Friday afternoon at
4 o’clock with a good attendance.
They elected; Mrs McElroy
president of the association. Bro.
M-orris gave an -inspiring invoca-
tion and then; Bro- White follow-
ed with am interesting- talk Mr.
Price gave a talk for the coming
year and Miss Rosa K-e-e.se gave
a humorous interesting reading.
Then a. round table- talk gave
those present opportunities, for
good talks which they gave in

Mr. Lee Stephens and family,
who have been hear Ft. Worth
picking cotton, returned home

those who had business in Zephyr
the past week.
Mrs. Rube Dudly has moved t-o
Comanche in order to get the
benefit of the good schools at
that place.
Mr. J. C. Davis was -among the
boys who left for the training
camp at San Antonio on last
Wednesday.
Miss Mary Johnston returned
last Sunday after three months J
spent in summer school.
Messrs. George Tomlinson, Will
Jenkins and Pete Trommel, with
their families left the last week
for California to make their future
homes.
Mr. J W Bailey and family
were in Zephvr shopping on
Wednesday.
Prof and Mrs Childress- have
returned to our community to be
ready for the opening of school.
