S cup shortening
14 cups light brovan sugar,
firmly packed j
2 eggs J
2 tablespoons mllkj
1 teaspoon vanilla
14 cups sifted all-purpose
flour
14 teaspoons baking powder
*» teaspoon salt
Cream shortening until soft
and add sugar gradually, con-
tinuing to cream until light,
fluffy. Add eggs, milk, vanilla;
beat well. Sift flour, baking pow-
der, salt together; *<jd to 8 ad-
dtlons; beat well after each
addition.
Divide mixture Into f«U pans,
filling each approximately 4
full. Place on baking sheet, 4”
apart and bake 15-18 minutes at
375 degrees F. Remove from
oven; cool on rack; do not re-
move cakes from foU pan*.
Frost and decorate ha desired
Yield: 3 cups batter.

Cream shortening until light,
