BLOOD
We live by our blood, and on
it. We thrive or starve, as our
blood is rich or poor. There is
nothing else to live on or by.
When strength is full and
spirits high we are being re-

continual flow of rich blood.
This is health.
When weak, in low spirits, no
cheer, no spring, when rest is
not rest and sleep is not sleep,
we are starved; our blood is
poor; there is little nutriment
In it.

A Sprained Ankle.
As a rule a man will feel well
satisfied if he can hobble around
on crutches in two or three
weeks after spraining his ankle,
and it is often two or three
months before he is fully recov-
ered. This is an unnecessary
loss of time, as by applying
Chamberlain’s Liniment, as di-
rected, a cure may as a rule be
effected in less than one week’s
time, and in many cases within
3 days. Sold by Johnson & Mcll-
veen.

I have written to your -paper, I
Will write a few lines. »
We have a nice climate here
and good health. Crops were
short on account of dry weather
and sand storms. We are look-
ing for a bard winter. Have al-
ready had three good pnows and
the ground is in good shape for
work. If we can have plenty of
snow, we tan make out witH-but
litBerain. This ground holds
moisture better than any country
I ever saw. There are no creeks,
branches or swag places for the
water to run in and it has to stay
in the ground. The sun does not
shine so hot as it does in other
sections, and the nights are cool
enough for one to use cover in
summer, and plenty of air in the
day to keep cool. To see the peo-
ple herq, you would think this
was a health resort, as there are
more people here for their health
than any place lever saw.
Land is advancing fast; selling
now at from $15 to $100 per acre.
Feed stuff is all we try to raise,
and sometimes thatis short mak-
ing it hard on the people. Cat-
tle are the principal product,
and they are going out fast, as
the big ranches are closing out
and the land is being sold to set-
tlers at high prices. Cattle are
high and horses cheap.

Notice of Sheriff’s Sale, Real Estate,
Cured of a Severe Attack of Bron-
chitis by Chamberlain’s
Cough Remedy.
“On Oct. 18th, last, my little
3-year-old daughter contracted a
severe cold which resulted in a
bad case of bronchitis,” says
Mrs W G Gibson, Lexington Ky.
“She lost the power of speech
completely and was a very sick
child. Fortunately we had a bot-
tle of Chamberlain’s Cough Rem-
edy in the house and gave it to
her according to the printed di-
rections. On the second day she
was a great deal better, and on
the fifth day, Oct. 23, she was
entirely well of her cold and
bronchitis, which I attribute to
this splendid medicine. I recom-
mend Chamberlain’s Cough Rem-
edy unreservedly as I have found
it the surest, safest and quickest
cure for colds, both for children
and adults, of any I have ever
used.” For sale by Johnson A
