Local 4-H Club
To Exchange Vows Thursday Feb. 3
Miss I>aura Pearl White and
Lt. Leslie W. Wright, Jr., will
exchange wedding vows at the
Methodist Church in Huntsville
Saturday evening, Jan. 29, at 7
o'clock.
Miss White is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Mlnyard White of
Huughton, La . formerly of Dew.
Lt. Wright's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. L. W. Wright of Huntsville.
He has just recently returned to
the States after serving with the
LT. S. Navy in Japan for more
than a year.
Friends anu relatives of the
couple are invited to attend the
wedding.

With Dinner
Cliff Coleman was honored by
Mrs. Coleman and family with a
birthday dinner at their home
Sunday, Jan. 23. Present for the
celebration were Mr. and Mrs.
Randall Coleman and Nancy,
and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carter
Coleman, all <>f Fort Worth; Mrs.
O. I). Christian, Sarah, Jerry and
Travis, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Cole-
man and Jimmie, Furney Cole-
man, and' Mr. and Mrs. Walter
The program. “A Trip To The
Holy Land,” featuring Stephen
A. Haboush, a native Galilean,
will be presenter! at the Fair-
field High School Gym Thurs-
day, Feb. 3. The religious pro-
gram will consist of two hours
of color films and talks on the
Hoiy Land.
Mr. Haboush was born in the
hills overlooking the Sea of
Galilee. Only 13 miies from the
city of Nazareth young Haboush
tended his father’s flock of
sheep.
The program will be sponsor-
ed by the eighth grade. Tickets
in advance are school students
and children, 40c, adults 75c.
Tickets at the door will be chil-
dren (7-14) 50c, adults $1.00.
Tickets may be purchased from
any eighth grader or from Mrs.
Ruby O’Neal or Neil Bass.

Tommy McAdams celebrated
his seventh birthday in Kirby-
ville with a party given by his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvis Mc-
Adams, Saturday evening, Jan.

The 4-H Club of Fairfield High
School met in the gym Jan. 24
to elect officers and discuss the
events for the year.
Officers elected were Warren
Await, president; Gene Knowles,
vice-president; Milton Carroll,
secretary-treasurer; and Charles
Robinson, reporter.
During the business session
the 27 enrolled members discuss-
ed a number of fairs and decid-
ed to try to enter several Judg-
ing contests.—Reporter.
