Streetman announce the en-
gagement and approaching mur-
riage of their daughter, Miss
Marjorie Erline Rouse, to Alton
Dale Willard, son of Mr. anti
Mrs. Colon Willard of Fairfield.
The wedding will take place at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Rouse
in Streetman June 24.
Miss Rouse attended Fairfield
High School and is employed
at the office of the Freestone
County Tax Collector.
Mr. Willard, graduate of Fair-
field High School, is employed
with the Highway Department.
They will make their home in
Fairfield.
Miss Betty Jo Hagen, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad
Hagen of Dew, became the bride
of David Maurice Lancaster, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Lowry Lan-
caster of Dew, Saturday even-
ing, May 28, in Teague.
The Rev. H. L. McKissack,
pastor of Eighth Avenue Baptist
Church, performed the double
ring ceremony at his home in
Teague in the presence of the
Immediate families.
The bride wore a gown of
white satin designed with fitted
bodice and full gathered skirt,
ballerina length. She carried a
White Bible topped with white
carnations and satin ribbon, and
wore a pearl necklace and ear-
screws, a gift from the bride-
groom.
Miss Norene Yow of Dallas
was maid of honor. She wore a
white dress with fitted bodice
nnd full gathered skirt, and
carried a bouquet of white
feathered carnations.
Dale Lancaster served his
brother as best man.
After the ceremony, Mr. and
Mrs. Lancaster left on a wedding
trip to Oklahoma after which
they will be at home in Dallas
where she is employed by the
Reserve Life Insurance Com-
pany and he with the Gulf In-
surance Company. Both are
graduates of Teague High
School. ,
