Earty, died Friday, April 24,1998
at Care Nursing Home in Early,
Texas
Mr Hampton was bom on
March 31, 1909 in Wichita Falls,
Texas He was a Baptist Mr.
Hampton was a member of the
Masonic Lodge in Wichita Falls
He was married to Nancy Huffman
Hood in 1973 in Wichita Falls.
Mr Hampton is survived by his
wife, Nancy Hampton of
Comanche; son, Gary Hampton of
Fort Worth; step-son, Gerald
Garrett of Wichita Falls, step-
daughter, Gladys Campbell of
Comanche; 12 grandchildren, and
four great-grandchildren
Funeral services were at 2:00
p.m., Monday, April 27 at the
graveside with Rev. James
Upshaw officiating. Burial was in
the Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort
Worth, Texas with Comanche

He is survived by his wife,

daughter, Penny Sanchez of
Phoenix, Arizona, one sister,
Carol Ann Dillon and brother-in-

sister-in-law Helen Moore of
Scottsdale, Arizona, two
grandchildren, and three step-
grandchildren.

WALING IN “RELAY FOR LIFE”: Penny Hamilton, left, will be
participating on the Comanche Hospital team for the American Cancer
Society Relay For Life to be held this Friday at CHS Indian Stadium.
Penny will be walking in honor of her nephew, Craig Campbell. Craig
was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma two years ago and
underwent a bone marrow transplant last August. Craig is currently in
remission. If you would like to walk in honor or in memory or
someone, or simply make a donation, contact Doris Mazurek at 254-
842-5585. Craig is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie Campbell.

Hanson Cemetery Association will
be held on Saturday, May 2 This
will be the only formal meeting of
the year and all members
interested in the conduct and
maintenance of the cemetery are
urged to attend the business
session and remain for the basket
lunch spread at noon
The cemetery grounds have been
well kept by the contractor dunng
the past year The open areas will
be mowed and tnmmed before the
meeting but the individual lots are
m need of attention We look
forward to seeing each of you at
this gathenng to help keep our
cemetery beautiful
